Big on Health is a UK review and comparison site for everyday healthcare and pharmacy products. It is not a prestige beauty site. We do not hold stock. We do not take payment here. We will not hide that arrangement behind a vague line. The word “affiliate” on its own is not a clear label. The label we use is Ad, placed at the top of the page, before the first link and before any sentence that could be read as a recommendation.
How a page is written
Each page starts with a question a UK reader might actually have in a pharmacy aisle: how to read a tattoo-aftercare label, what fragrance-free means on a pack, or what a simple moisturiser for dry skin is for. We keep the language cosmetic. We may say that a product is fragrance-free, that it is for dry skin, or that it soothes dry skin, once that is true of the labelled product. We will not say that a product heals the skin, prevents infection, treats scarring, or treats eczema or another disease. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
We do not invent winners. Until a retailer programme is open and a real link can be checked, comparison tables stay empty and holding pages say that we have no live recommendation. An empty table is honest. A filled table with invented names is not.
We do not copy old shop text from the former catalogue and present it as a new review. We do not centre the site on makeup brands.
Who pays us, when that begins
We join publisher programmes in the name of Ideas in Medicine Limited, trading as Big on Health, and then apply to UK pharmacies and health retailers. We will not invent a list of shop names to fill this page. The first live commercial link is on Finding a private carer in the UK, and that page is labelled Ad. There are no live pharmacy buy buttons until a named programme is accepted.
If an Amazon Associates account is opened later, it will be used only for products those pharmacies and health retailers do not carry. Amazon’s own disclosure sentence will be added only if that account exists and Amazon links are actually on the page.
How to read the rest of the site
If a page has commercial links, look for the Ad label first. The footer on every page repeats the company name and the same commission line. If you want the company details, they are on About and contact.
