About the person

  • What training and experience do you have for our needs?
  • May we see a recent DBS check?
  • Can you provide two recent references?

About the work

  • Which tasks will you do, and which will you not do?
  • What happens if you are ill or on holiday?
  • Are you happy with pets, smoking rules, or night waking if needed?

About money and paperwork

  • What is the hourly or live-in rate, and what is included?
  • Who handles tax, National Insurance, and holiday pay?
  • Is there a written agreement?
